Concentraition

In an era of rampant technology and modernism an old way of life is decaying. Rust accumulates on tools, which at one point, were staples of modern culture. I come from a generation in which these old and rusted objects are almost completely foreign. I have chosen to focus a spotlight on these deteriorating relics through the use various fiber sculpture techniques in order to portray their value in modern society through the principles of contrast, pattern, texture and unity.
